Anders Oskal Interview
Description
Anders Oskal, Executive Director of the International Centre for Reindeer Husbandry, gives some fascinating insights into what exactly reindeer herding is, and the very real challenges climate change poses for them. He explains how nature dependent they are and connects this to what is happening in the US in terms of energy useage. He explores the impacts they are facing in details from direct effects to indirect effects, touching on snow and vegetation change and what this means for reindeer. He goes on to explain the dangers new insects pose.
