Time Required: 30 minutes class time, assuming writing is assigned for homework.

This activity is part of Section 1: The Facts ofTeenNet's Virtual Classroom on Tobacco Control. Learning objectives for this section as a whole are:
- Knowledge of the chemicals, additives, and other ingredients in tobacco products (i.e. cigarettes), and tobacco smoke
- Understanding the addictive qualities of tobacco products
- Understanding the link between health and tobacco

Write a two-page narrative about a time when tobacco affected your life or the life of someone you know. Be sure to analyze the impact of the event/situation on you, your family, or your friends. Please post it in the Student Writing section of this classroom.
