Confronting Climate Change in the Great Lakes Region (2003)
Description
This 2003 report from the David Suzuki Foundation and the Union of Concerned Scientists focuses on the concequences of climate change in the Great Lakes region.
The report is broken down into five major topics, including a summary of the Great lake ecosystem, scenarios and variables that impact future climates, ecological vulnerability towards the aquatic ecosystem and local terrestrial ecosystems. It also highlights practices to reduce and manage human impact on the region.
The source also provides a variety of visual data, such as projected changes in temperature graphs, maps and photos of local wildlife and terrian.
