The Story of Cosmetics examines the pervasive use of toxic chemicals in our everyday personal care products, from lipstick to baby shampoo. This seven-minute film by The Story of Stuff Project reveals the implications which everyday cosmetic and personal care products place on consumer and worker health, along with the effects which these products have on our environment. The video ends by outlining ways we can move the industry away from hazardous chemicals and towards safer alternatives.
